Here’s a little about us; Prestige Watches is a family-owned business based out of Parker, CO. Our humble beginnings formed when a young man, in the 1980s, decided to pursue a career in watchmaking. Not only was he fascinated by watches but he also was overwhelmed by the idea that time controls the entire world. As the years passed, he perfected his craft. As fate would have it, in 2005 his family immigrated to the United States. A father, a master watchmaker, upon arrival in Denver, CO, quickly found a watchmaking position and began brushing up on English and the American culture. Along the way, he sharpened his skills and taught new techniques, from hometown to colleagues. Some years later, Prestige Watches was born, a business he is happy to have established. We are here for all watch enthusiasts.

FAQ

Absolutely. Prestige Watches is an authorized retailer for every brand we sell new. Our pre-owned watches are always authenticated by the master watchmaker to ensure that the product we sell is authentic.

All of our brand-new watches are covered under a manufacturer’s warranty. Some pre-owned watches are also covered unless noted otherwise. Usually, different watch brands have different warranty lengths. Some might offer a year while others up to six years. Please look in the watch description for warranty length. If not mentioned or you still have questions, please email us at sales@prestigewatches.store.

If the watch is not to your liking, you may exchange it if it’s in its original condition. Our pre-owned watches are unfortunately sold as a final sale. To be valid, the exchange has to happen within thirty (30) days of the purchase day. If exchanging, please contact us first.

The movement type of any watch on our website is listed in the description section. All quartz watches require a battery, automatic watches are powered by either hand-winding the watch or wrist motion.

We want every one of our clients to enjoy their timepiece therefore if for any reason you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, please contact us so we can help. As a general rule, for all brand-new watches, we provide a fourteen (14) day return privilege and a three (3) day return privilege on all pre-owned watches only if the watch hasn’t been worn, modified, or watchband sized. All returns or exchanges must be in the original condition the watch shipped in. For more information, please visit our Refunds and Returns Policy

We do offer free shipping, usually via UPS Ground to all of our clients who purchase watches. Watch band purchased through our website will carry a shipping fee. 

At this time, we do not provide gift certificates however, we do have plans to offer a way for our clients to treat their special someone to a brand-new or a pre-owned timepiece.

If you replaced the battery at our store, it is covered under warranty and we will be more than happy to replace the battery, free of charge. However, in rare scenarios where the battery is still good after a replacement, but the watch stopped anyway, we might recommend servicing the movement of the watch. In extreme cases, we will recommend replacing the whole watch movement, usually for watches that are not serviceable.

Water Resistance indicates how well a watch is sealed against the ingress of water, usually accompanied by an indication of the static test pressure that a sample of newly manufactured watches was exposed to, in a leakage test. An indication of the test pressure in terms of water depth does not mean a water-resistant watch was designed for repeated long-term use in such water depths. For example, a watch marked 3 ATM/30 meters water resistant cannot be expected to withstand activity for longer periods in a swimming pool, let alone continue to function at 30 meters underwater. This is because the test is conducted only once using static pressure on a sample of newly manufactured watches. The test for qualifying a diving watch for repeated usage in a given depth includes safety margins to take factors into account like the aging of the seals, the properties of water and seawater, rapidly changing water pressure and temperature, as well as dynamic mechanical stresses encountered by a watch. Here are some activities that some brands use to illustrate water resistance.

3 ATM = Not intended for any exposure to water
5 ATM = Splash resistant, suitable for washing hands or light rain
10 ATM = Water Sports, suitable for swimming, surfing, etc.
20 ATM = Scuba Diving, suitable for extreme ocean depths

Please contact us directly either via our email or our phone number so that we can quickly and efficiently resolve the issue. If local, please feel free to bring the watch into our store and our master watchmaker run a diagnostic to determine the cause, and degree of damage.

If the watch wasn’t bought from us, please either send it to us or bring it in so that we can assess damages and recommend the best service path. If the watch was bought brand new from us, unfortunately, the crystal wouldn’t be covered under warranty, however, we will do our best to take care of our customers.

We don’t just service high-end watches, we service them all. To us each watch is valuable, and we will do our best to keep our customers happy and their watch functioning. I am quite certain you will NEVER find a more skilled, caring, or fair watchmaker. I took George 5 watches. Each one has multiple problems including missing and broken pieces and bands. In UNDER an hour every single one was in beautiful shape and running. George is a pro’s pro. I think one of the most impressive things was how prepared he was with the parts on hand to make substantial repairs to a collectors item I had inherited. Well done George! DO NOT take your timepiece anywhere else, if you can help it.

George and Ed are truly masters of their craft. Every timepiece I have brought in for service, they have helped me with exactly what I have needed and with expert and friendly service at an affordable price. Whether it be my 1997 Breitling Crosswind Windracer that needed a new link; George was able to combine a two-toned link with two pieces of white gold to make the link perfect for what I needed, or whether it was my Tudor blackbay GMT that needed a hole punched in the leather bracelet, or whether I wanted bracelets swapped out in my Tudors, or batteries changed in my lower end watches, they do it all and they do it with a smile on their face. Once I even came in for a missing pin in a bravely and they didn’t even charge me! Great people and a great establishment.
